Overview
Posture Reset Coach helps you notice forward-head posture during focused desk sessions and choose guided resets. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
The app is built to process posture-related motion data on your iPhone. We do not sell personal information, serve ads, or use your data for cross-app tracking.
Data we process
Posture Reset Coach may store the following information locally on your device:
- Onboarding and settings preferences.
- Your selected avatar and app display preferences.
- Calibration profiles for your comfortable neutral head position.
- Completed posture sessions, scores, summaries, completed programs, and favorites.
- Alert, sensitivity, sound, and voice cue preferences.
This information is used to run the app experience and show your own session history and trends.
Motion data
Headphone motion is read through Apple's Core Motion framework only while you run a posture session or calibrate. Individual motion samples are processed in the moment for posture classification and are not recorded as sample streams.
Posture Reset Coach does not use the camera, microphone, location, or contacts for live posture monitoring.
Analytics and reliability
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve its features. This may include app opens, screens and features used, onboarding and calibration outcomes, session duration or count ranges, subscription status, and paywall or purchase-flow results. Firebase may also process an app-instance identifier and technical app, device, and operating-system information.
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and non-fatal errors. Crash reports may include the app version, device and operating-system details, error categories, and limited feature or app-state context needed to reproduce a problem.
Headphone motion samples, exact head angles, calibration values, posture session history, exercise favorites, support message text, and support attachments are not sent to Firebase Analytics. We filter analytics and diagnostic values intended to contain names, email addresses, message content, receipts, or exact motion values.
Firebase acts as a service provider for analytics and app reliability. We do not use this information for advertising, sell it, or use it for cross-app tracking.
Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Entitlement checks happen through Apple's StoreKit system so the app can unlock purchased access.
Support email
If you contact us through the app, the prepared email includes the app version, device model, and iOS version. We also receive the message you send and any screenshots, videos, or other information you choose to attach. You can review and edit the email before sending it. We use this information only to understand and respond to your request.
Your choices
- You can stop a posture session at any time.
- You can change app preferences in Settings.
- You can manage Motion & Fitness permission in iOS Settings.
- You can delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to iOS backup behavior.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how information is collected, processed, or shared, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
